The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dean Cheetham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, PowerHawKings's Arturo Marziali got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 6th match minute, Mayo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dean Cheetham to maneuver through the defense. Tommy Wise hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Cristoforo Tassotti kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. With a little luck, Mayo's Will Ferdinand got control of the ball when Cristoforo Tassotti tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carmine Passalacqua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Medley in the 21st minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, David Medley had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carmine Passalacqua. PowerHawKings's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Medley was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. David Medley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmine Passalacqua having to interfere. When Mayo's Dean Cheetham in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PowerHawKings's goalie prevented a goal. Dean Cheetham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmine Passalacqua having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ciro Loiacono during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 29th match minute, PowerHawKings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Loiacono to maneuver through the defense. Carmine Passalacqua didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Mayo's David Medley shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. After a rather tough play, Mayo's Nick Coates got a free kick in the 36th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tommy Wise during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 38 played minutes Mayo got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Wise. In the 41st minute Demetrio Persichetti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Will Ferdinand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Arturo Marziali made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Mayo got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Colman. In the 54th minute Dean Cheetham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmine Passalacqua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to PowerHawKings getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Cristoforo Tassotti hit a great ball. PowerHawKings's Carmine Passalacqua proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save PowerHawKings from getting a goal against them. In the 62ndth minute of the game Dean Cheetham who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PowerHawKings's Carmine Passalacqua was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. David Medley who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Carmine Passalacqua when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dean Cheetham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Carmine Passalacqua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dean Cheetham hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. David Medley had several of the PowerHawKings's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 68 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Carmine Passalacqua as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 70th minute Dean Cheetham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmine Passalacqua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ben Alderson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmine Passalacqua having to interfere. The supporters of Mayo booed when PowerHawKings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Loiacono didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dean Cheetham received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carmine Passalacqua came out and tried to block the shot, but Dean Cheetham slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 82nd minute. Dean Cheetham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmine Passalacqua having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dean Cheetham in the 92nd minute of play forced PowerHawKings's goalkeeper Carmine Passalacqua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
