Fabio Di Muzio kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Bravo in the 8th minute of play forced RB Buzău's goalkeeper Gigel Lupea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iustin Belu kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Nechifor Pătrașcu kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Villa di Molvena FC's Alex Bravo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gigel Lupea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind RB Buzău's goalkeeper Gigel Lupea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ercole Montanari took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gigel Lupea. Gigel Lupea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 15thth minute of the game Alex Bravo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RB Buzău's Gigel Lupea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 16 played minutes RB Buzău got a freekick which was hit by Mugur Pantea. In the 17th minute of the match Alex Bravo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gigel Lupea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to RB Buzău getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Nicolae Trifănucă hit a great ball. Alex Bravo scored 0-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gigel Lupea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alex Bravo in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gigel Lupea saved RB Buzău from getting behind. Arturo Greco charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arturo Greco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Villa di Molvena FC booed when RB Buzău was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Șerban Baicea didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mugur Pantea during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 36 minutes into the game, one of RB Buzău:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gigel Lupea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Di Muzio, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Gigel Lupea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Di Muzio in the 44th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Alex Bravo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gigel Lupea. RB Buzău's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alex Bravo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After the first half Villa di Molvena FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alex Bravo was the one to do the kick off. Leontin Bungescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Daniele Salomone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Villa di Molvena FC's Daniele Salomone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leontin Bungescu in the 59th minute of play. After some careless play in the Villa di Molvena FC defense, Iustin Belu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniele Salomone. The Villa di Molvena FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniele Salomone should have stopped the shot. 65 minutes into the game, RB Buzău's Iustin Belu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daniele Salomone made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Daniele Salomone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leontin Bungescu in the 71st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Villa di Molvena FC's Camillo Di Marzio got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Villa di Molvena FC's Arturo Greco got his second yellow card of the match in the 74th minute. The referee ordered Arturo Greco off the ground. When RB Buzău's Leontin Bungescu in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Villa di Molvena FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Villa di Molvena FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
