Iulian Bucurescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the game, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Alin Agud nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís Gustavo Bueno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Elias Sarmento managed to get in a good position for a shot. SE Tijolo 6 Furos's supporters rose to their feet, but Elias Sarmento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iulian Bucurescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of SE Tijolo 6 Furos booed when FC UNIREA Alba Iulia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alin Agud didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Dênis Vinhas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Iulian Bucurescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dênis Vinhas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iulian Bucurescu having to make a save. In the 29th minute Dênis Vinhas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iulian Bucurescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SE Tijolo 6 Furos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Frédson Alagoano in the 30th minute. Gigi Câmpeanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Gustavo Bueno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dênis Vinhas in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iulian Bucurescu saved FC UNIREA Alba Iulia from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Iulian Bucurescu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Valdo de Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Gigi Câmpeanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Gustavo Bueno was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Dênis Vinhas struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Iulian Bucurescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SE Tijolo 6 Furos. After a rather tough play, SE Tijolo 6 Furos's Fiori Viana got a free kick in the 59th minute. Dênis Vinhas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 70 minutes of play, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Tudor Enoiu made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Gustavo Bueno was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cornel Câmpeanu charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cornel Câmpeanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Frédson Alagoano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Iulian Bucurescu. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Alin Agud charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alin Agud the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nechifor Ciocârlan kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The audience held their breath when Frédson Alagoano in the 90th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Iulian Bucurescu's left hand side.
