Tomás Aguiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 齐棋强, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute, 刘源凌 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomás Aguiar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Grêmio Bulls's Nico Amaral got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomás Aguiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 刘源凌 in the 90th minute of play. 杨轩源 came free with the goalkeeper in the 91st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tomás Aguiar could save by the left post. After 92 played minutes Grêmio Bulls got a freekick which was hit by Cássio Brodel. An unexpectedly hard shot by 刘源凌 in the 94th minute of play forced Grêmio Bulls's goalkeeper Tomás Aguiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 98th minute 刘源凌 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Aguiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
