The crowd rose to their feet as Loco Martin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Michael Persson. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. Aldo Senen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Michael Persson made a huge save. Aldo Senen came free with the goalkeeper in the 14th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Michael Persson could save by the left post. IKS Norrköping's Michael Persson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Elazar in the 17th minute of play. Aldo Senen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Michael Persson made a huge save. After 19 played minutes El coca fc got a freekick which was hit by Octavio Blasco. IKS Norrköping's Michael Persson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save IKS Norrköping from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Sefastsson in the 30th minute of play forced El coca fc's goalkeeper Luciano Aballe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to El coca fc getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Artemio Rainerio hit a great ball. IKS Norrköping's Edward Bollström was substituted for Karl Ivarsson. In the 46th minute Edward Bollström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Aballe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Edward Bollström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Loco Martin to strike the kick off in the second half. Michael Persson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldo Senen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Edward Bollström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
