When The Valar's Olimpiu Postelnicescu in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BENA FK's goalie prevented a goal. In the 11th minute, Olimpiu Postelnicescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Valar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 24th minute Claudiu Becheanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Forsman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dan Forsman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olimpiu Postelnicescu in the 26th minute of play. Horia Boerescu hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Francisc Ghionescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Östen Bennet, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olimpiu Postelnicescu got free with Dan Forsman in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as The Valar's Horia Boerescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dan Forsman. That made the score 2-0 after 36 minutes of play. When Olimpiu Postelnicescu came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the The Valar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olimpiu Postelnicescu couldn't finish the play. Dan Forsman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olimpiu Postelnicescu in the 39th minute of play. Villiam Hultman kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Horia Boerescu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 42nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Olimpiu Postelnicescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Dan Forsman made a huge save. Dan Forsman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horia Boerescu in the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Östen Bennet was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind BENA FK's goalkeeper Dan Forsman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the BENA FK defense, Iosif Bordeianu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dan Forsman. The BENA FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dan Forsman should have stopped the shot. 61 minutes into the match, The Valar's goalkeeper Francisc Ghionescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Östen Bennet. After 62 played minutes The Valar got a freekick which was hit by Iosif Bordeianu. After a rather tough play, The Valar's Pompiliu Bugariu got a free kick in the 66th minute. Dan Forsman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olimpiu Postelnicescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olimpiu Postelnicescu in the 88th minute of play forced BENA FK's goalkeeper Dan Forsman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Östen Bennet kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Dan Forsman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Dăscălescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, Torgny Valström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 97th minute Olimpiu Postelnicescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Forsman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. The Valar fully deserved thier win.
