The supporters of San Lorenzo de Sarandi booed when Oylimpiamos Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Polo Gandara didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Roque Errando kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mouricio Celis. That made the score 5-0 in the 34 minute of play. The referee ignored Oylimpiamos Ψ's protests and gave Gutierre Avina a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th match minute, Oylimpiamos Ψ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gutierre Avina to maneuver through the defense. Oylimpiamos Ψ's Mouricio Celis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Oylimpiamos Ψ from getting a goal against them. Mouricio Celis was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Fermin Paio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fermin Paio really showed his touch with that goal: 6-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Fermin Paio sped through Oylimpiamos Ψ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mouricio Celis. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Nicanor Florian was substituted for Anacleto Urtzi. After some careless play in the Oylimpiamos Ψ defense, Jacinto Gauargi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mouricio Celis. The Oylimpiamos Ψ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mouricio Celis should have stopped the shot. Fermin Paio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Mouricio Celis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Oylimpiamos Ψ booed when San Lorenzo de Sarandi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roque Errando didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. San Lorenzo de Sarandi had played much better football throughout.
