An unexpected shot in the 16th minute by Conal Knight-Percival got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Conal Knight-Percivals short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Rene Goren to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Conal Knight-Percival took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rene Goren. Rene Goren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. David Seaman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Fernado in the 24th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Conal Knight-Percival in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rene Goren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rene Goren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conal Knight-Percival in the 28th minute of the match. David Seaman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After some careless play in the chacarita juniors defense, Garry Aspinall kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rene Goren. The chacarita juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rene Goren should have stopped the shot. David Seaman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Vachon, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ampthill FC.
