Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patrik Johansson in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bartolo Paz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rikard Sjögren might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bartolo Paz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rikard Sjögren ran back to his position shaking his head. Bartolo Paz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rikard Sjögren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Berni y Benja FC's Bartolo Paz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrik Johansson in the 13th minute of play. Rikard Sjögren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cipriano Peyo got free with Georg Giliusson in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Berni y Benja FC's Maximiliano Telmo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Georg Giliusson. That made the score 1-0 after 21 minutes of play. The audience was convinced that Rikard Sjögren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bartolo Paz was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. When Klas Löfgren fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quetzal Flyers Hammers's protests and gave Klas Löfgren a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th minute, Gavino Benvide made a precise shot to the right of Georg Giliusson. Quetzal Flyers Hammers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After 35 minutes of play, Berni y Benja FC's Robustiano Matteo made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Georg Giliusson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maximiliano Telmo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Georg Giliusson came out and tried to block the shot, but Maximiliano Telmo slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Telmo in the 49th minute of play forced Quetzal Flyers Hammers's goalkeeper Georg Giliusson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cipriano Peyo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 50th minute of the match, but Georg Giliusson made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 57 minutes, Patrik Johansson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quetzal Flyers Hammers and the Berni y Benja FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 57th minute, Patrik Johansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bartolo Paz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rikard Sjögren in the 62nd minute. After 65 played minutes Berni y Benja FC got a freekick which was hit by Robustiano Matteo. Rikard Sjögren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartolo Paz having to interfere. Georg Giliusson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Telmo in the 72nd minute of the match. Rikard Sjögren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rikard Sjögren's late challenge caught a Berni y Benja FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rikard Sjögren helped the player get up and apologised. Rikard Sjögren kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 77th minute Maximiliano Telmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georg Giliusson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Telmo in the 85th minute of play forced Quetzal Flyers Hammers's goalkeeper Georg Giliusson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Artemio Abascal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Berni y Benja FC's Bartolo Paz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Berni y Benja FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Berni y Benja FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Artemio Abascal hit a great ball. When Karl-Axel Linberg fell near the penalty area in the 99th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quetzal Flyers Hammers's protests and gave Karl-Axel Linberg a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Quetzal Flyers Hammers getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Karl-Axel Linberg hit a great ball. Berni y Benja FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
