But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eder Laso de la Vega couldn't finish the play. Steven Gilbride kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Eder Laso de la Vega let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 25th minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodolfo Echeverz in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alisdair Ferries prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tom Connolly hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Rodolfo Echeverz took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Alisdair Ferries to make any attempt to save it. In the 40th match minute, Lord of the Wings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steven Gilbride to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Patrick Dean stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodolfo Echeverz in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alisdair Ferries saved Lord of the Wings from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Lord of the Wings's zone, Eder Laso de la Vega stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alisdair Ferries came out of the goal and Eder Laso de la Vega tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Centinela Español FC's Aureo Mazuelas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steven Gilbride in the 57th minute of play. Lord of the Wings's Alisdair Ferries played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Echeverz in the 59th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Centinela Español FC's zone, Matthew McHugh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aureo Mazuelas came out of the goal and Matthew McHugh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th minute Rodolfo Echeverz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alisdair Ferries saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute Centinela Español FC were awarded a corner. Gaspar Gacitúa went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Centinela Español FC's corner Gaspar Gacitúa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alisdair Ferries quite easily take care of the ball. After 74 minutes, Alirio Bahamonde mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Centinela Español FC and the Lord of the Wings players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Lord of the Wings getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Kieran McGaw hit a great ball. If Rodolfo Echeverz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 91 played minutes Lord of the Wings got a freekick which was hit by Kieran McGaw. Norino Huaiquipan charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Norino Huaiquipan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Lord of the Wings booed when Centinela Español FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norino Huaiquipan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Centinela Español FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
