Spectators: 162 (Terracing: 122, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) 0-1 became the score in the 7th minute when Clark Lindsey elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Bernard Falkendorf came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by El Canalla de Chicago's Rudolph Thurman. But to his dismay, Rudolph Thurman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Canalla de Chicago's goalkeeper Jonah Peck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Clark Lindsey came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the El Canalla de Chicago fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clark Lindsey couldn't finish the play. Long Dolby's Bernard Falkendorf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clark Lindsey in the 21st minute of play. Rickard Tønnies sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute, Dustin Thome hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Long Dolby's Janus Eyvindson got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernard Falkendorf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudolph Thurman, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Kent Carney might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernard Falkendorf. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kent Carney ran back to his position shaking his head. Clark Lindsey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Bernard Falkendorf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of El Canalla de Chicago booed when Long Dolby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolaj Høpfner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Clark Lindsey to make the kick off. Clark Lindsey who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Bernard Falkendorf when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 52 minutes, Gerdt Libach mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Long Dolby and the El Canalla de Chicago players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Long Dolby getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Gerdt Libach hit a great ball. El Canalla de Chicago's Clark Lindsey managed to work through Long Dolby's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Clark Lindsey dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 61 minutes into the game, El Canalla de Chicago's Clark Lindsey nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernard Falkendorf made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Clark Lindsey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernard Falkendorf having to make a save. If Kent Carney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 73 played minutes El Canalla de Chicago got a freekick which was hit by Leo Finn. 78 minutes into the game, El Canalla de Chicago's Clark Lindsey nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernard Falkendorf made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. After 81 played minutes Long Dolby got a freekick which was hit by Olof Fagerdorf. In the 85th match minute, Long Dolby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolaj Høpfner to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Scott Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Canalla de Chicago's supporters rose to their feet, but Scott Souza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernard Falkendorf breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 92nd minute, Scott Souza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernard Falkendorf was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. When the match was over El Canalla de Chicago could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Long Dolby throughout the match.
