German Tartalo charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed German Tartalo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Yağızhan Haksever had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute of the match, Pascual Ado got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hakan Ilıca was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Aquiles Lazcano scored 3-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hakan Ilıca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34th minute Pascual Ado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hakan Ilıca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Pascual Ado made a precise shot to the right of Hakan Ilıca. Karaelmas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. 45 minutes into the game, Ciriaco Satordi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atlético Escocia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Karaelmas the free kick. After 44 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Club Atlético Escocia! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-1 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in Karaelmas's zone, German Tartalo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hakan Ilıca came out of the goal and German Tartalo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Club Atlético Escocia fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Club Atlético Escocia's Pascual Ado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Karaelmas defense, Pascual Ado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hakan Ilıca. The Karaelmas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hakan Ilıca should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Club Atlético Escocia booed when Karaelmas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serhan Satvet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hakan Ilıca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascual Ado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If German Tartalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delmiro Iztal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yağızhan Haksever in the 71st minute. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 9-1 when Enrique Astrada sped through Karaelmas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hakan Ilıca. Club Atlético Escocia's Facundo Nahas was substituted for Enrique Astrada. Club Atlético Escocia made a substitution. Aurelio Resto replaced Lucas Quinto. Isidro Hibai took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hakan Ilıca.
