Östen Walroth was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Norberto Matos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 24 minute of play. A collision led to AC Mayonnaise getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Mattias Kilstedt hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Edmund Lång ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jardel Falcão was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 42nd minute, Richard Tróia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jardel Falcão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alf Törnkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Norberto Matos to strike the kick off in the second half. Jardel Falcão came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by AC Mayonnaise's Erik Hellkvist. But to his dismay, Erik Hellkvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. With a little luck, Maraponga FAC's Jardel Falcão got control of the ball when Alf Törnkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jardel Falcão was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Alf Törnkvist capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alf Törnkvist really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in AC Mayonnaise's zone, Norberto Matos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Östen Walroth came out of the goal and Norberto Matos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thomas Örtlund hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After 95 played minutes Maraponga FAC got a freekick which was hit by Zé Pedro Schmidt. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. AC Mayonnaise walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
