Henrik Foldnes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Golo Gol came out and tried to block the shot, but Henrik Foldnes slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. After 9 minutes of play, Project Nemesis's Czeslaw Penczkowski made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tor-Egil Aanes was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Vestfjorden FK defense, Alaa Ba Loua kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tor-Egil Aanes. The Vestfjorden FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tor-Egil Aanes should have stopped the shot. Iwan Zajac kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Tor-Egil Aanes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Czeslaw Penczkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute Henrik Foldnes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Golo Gol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Project Nemesis booed when Vestfjorden FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tore Kaur didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Czeslaw Penczkowski fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Project Nemesis's protests and gave Czeslaw Penczkowski a yellow card for diving instead. Harald Hamnes charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Harald Hamnes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Vestfjorden FK! Tor-Egil Aanes had in the 33rdth minute some difficulties stopping Czeslaw Penczkowski's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 36th minute Alaa Ba Loua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tor-Egil Aanes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Czeslaw Penczkowski in the 37th minute of play forced Vestfjorden FK's goalkeeper Tor-Egil Aanes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42ndth minute of the game Alaa Ba Loua who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vestfjorden FK's Tor-Egil Aanes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Vestfjorden FK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Project Nemesis were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Henrik Foldnes to strike the kick off in the second half. Czeslaw Penczkowski scored 1-3 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tor-Egil Aanes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Alaa Ba Loua kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tor-Egil Aanes. That made the score 1-4 in the 57 minute of play. Halvard Ernstsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tadeusz Kicia hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Vestfjorden FK's Tor-Egil Aanes got control of the ball when Alaa Ba Loua tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alaa Ba Loua in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tor-Egil Aanes saved Vestfjorden FK from getting behind. A collision led to Project Nemesis getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Czeslaw Penczkowski hit a great ball. Project Nemesis's Fabian Labus was substituted for Czeslaw Penczkowski. Project Nemesis's Tadeusz Rekowski was substituted for Alaa Ba Loua. In the 70th minute, Czeslaw Penczkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tor-Egil Aanes made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Tadeusz Rekowski sent off a good shot on target. After 75 played minutes Project Nemesis got a freekick which was hit by Radomir Czech. The crowd rose to their feet as Project Nemesis's Fabian Labus slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tor-Egil Aanes. That made the score 1-5 after 80 minutes of play. In the 84th minute, Tadeusz Rekowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Vestfjorden FK booed when Project Nemesis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomasz Konopka didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Project Nemesis supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Project Nemesis would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
