João Carlos Oliveira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Jacinto Chuse's late challenge caught a ROSÁRIO SPORT's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacinto Chuse helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Quebracho FC's Jacinto Chuse got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Lino Zonta kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After 44 minutes, Fulgencio Egoitz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. João Carlos Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulgencio Egoitz in the 59th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, ROSÁRIO SPORT's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Filiberto Ponc fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Quebracho FC's Paolo Abastas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wellington Gerber in the 67th minute of play. If Jacinto Chuse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 72 played minutes ROSÁRIO SPORT got a freekick which was hit by Lúcio Dionísio. Jacinto Chuse's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but João Carlos Oliveira firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a little luck, ROSÁRIO SPORT's João Carlos Oliveira got control of the ball when Jaime Mannuel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paolo Abastas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wellington Gerber in the 79th minute of play. A collision led to Quebracho FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Quebracho FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ROSÁRIO SPORT the free kick. Nemesio Valentine hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serafino Luar got free with João Carlos Oliveira in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Fulgencio Egoitz came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Quebracho FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fulgencio Egoitz couldn't finish the play. The ROSÁRIO SPORT supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Quebracho FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Quebracho FC.
