Peter Belník yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Košút in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ian Triganza saved Attard Gunners from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Róbert Klirčík was the one to do the kick off. George Xiberras hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 54 minutes into the game, Attard Gunners's Robert Gera nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Peter Belník made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Ryan Padovani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. After a defensive mix-up in MIK Focus ŽILINA's zone, George Xiberras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peter Belník came out of the goal and George Xiberras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 71 played minutes MIK Focus ŽILINA got a freekick which was hit by Stano Hyrošš. Peter Belník showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Xiberras in the 74th minute of the match. Róbert Klirčík fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ian Triganza having to interfere. Daniel Košút received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Ian Triganza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Miroslav Žižka managed to get in a good position for a shot. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
