Túlio Maravilha started the match with the kick off. Detelin Borkov kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, João Vítor Sena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niki Semovski. FC Builder Sofia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that João Vítor Sena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 24 minutes in the game, Luisinho Nogueira fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Niki Semovski having to interfere. João Vítor Sena received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Niki Semovski came out and tried to block the shot, but João Vítor Sena slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute, Luisinho Nogueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Túlio Maravilha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Túlio Maravilha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Niki Semovski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Leonardo Paz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Detelin Borkov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Túlio Maravilha could shoot a difficult shot in the 42nd minute, which Niki Semovski however easily saved by the left post. Ricardo Barreto was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 44 minutes into the match. In the 45th match minute, Palmares Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Barreto to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of FC Builder Sofia booed when Palmares Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Barreto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Bozhin Batkov managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Builder Sofia's supporters rose to their feet, but Bozhin Batkov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonardo Paz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 51st minute Detelin Borkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Paz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Luisinho Nogueira notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of FC Builder Sofia's Niki Semovski. Niki Semovski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Luisinho Nogueira came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Palmares Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luisinho Nogueira couldn't finish the play. FC Builder Sofia's Veselin Menkov was substituted for Stanyo Yachovski. FC Builder Sofia's Rostislav Atmadzhov was substituted for Haralampi Kurdomanov. FC Builder Sofia made a substitution. Galin Spiridonov replaced Detelin Borkov. Niki Semovski came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Palmares Futebol Clube's João Vítor Sena. But to his dismay, João Vítor Sena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. A collision led to Palmares Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Ismael Secco hit a great ball. Galin Spiridonov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Leonardo Paz made a huge save. The audience was convinced that João Vítor Sena's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Niki Semovski was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. João Carlos Antunes scored 6-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Niki Semovski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Palmares Futebol Clube booed when FC Builder Sofia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Penev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gláuber da Costa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Niki Semovski. FC Builder Sofia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 85 played minutes Palmares Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Thomás Maia. Niki Semovski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Carlos Antunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
