One of Ballkam Sportsklubb:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of The Underdogs:s goal. In the 20th minute there was a penalty for The Underdogs. Roland Boon stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Johan Haugo. 0-1. After some careless play in the Ballkam Sportsklubb defense, Roland Boon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Johan Haugo. The Ballkam Sportsklubb fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Johan Haugo should have stopped the shot. The Underdogs's Ralf Popping managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Freddy Gigant in the 28 minute of the game. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ballkam Sportsklubb's goalkeeper Johan Haugo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, The Underdogs's Carsten van Wonderen got a free kick in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Boon in the 36th minute of play forced Ballkam Sportsklubb's goalkeeper Johan Haugo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roland Boon in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Johan Haugo saved Ballkam Sportsklubb from getting behind. 40 minutes into the match, Ballkam Sportsklubb's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Boon came free, but Johan Haugo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nico van Kampen made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Tobias Lind sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roland Boon in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Johan Haugo saved Ballkam Sportsklubb from getting behind.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tobias Lind to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match, Roland Boon tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Johan Haugo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Carsten van Wonderen managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Underdogs's supporters rose to their feet, but Carsten van Wonderen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johan Haugo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Johan Haugo came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by The Underdogs's Carsten van Wonderen. But to his dismay, Carsten van Wonderen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Carsten van Wonderen's late challenge caught a Ballkam Sportsklubb's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carsten van Wonderen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th match minute, The Underdogs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carsten van Wonderen to maneuver through the defense. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 62nd minute, but Johan Haugo got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Ballkam Sportsklubb hanging dry this time. Carsten van Wonderen might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Johan Haugo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carsten van Wonderen ran back to his position shaking his head. When Roland Boon came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the The Underdogs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roland Boon couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 74th minute by Carsten van Wonderen got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The supporters of The Underdogs booed when Ballkam Sportsklubb was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Morten Andersen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 88 minutes, Thomas Zahl mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ballkam Sportsklubb and the The Underdogs players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thomas Zahl kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 89th minute of the match, Nick Lamey sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Johan Haugo showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. After 94 played minutes The Underdogs got a freekick which was hit by Ralf Popping.
