When JOKER's İdris Adanır in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MELATES F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Samir İlkut kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. JOKER's İdris Adanır got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christos Papakostopoulos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Ferman Baray skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The JOKER fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when JOKER's İdris Adanır looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karadeniz Ulumeriç during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of MELATES F.C. booed when JOKER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karadeniz Ulumeriç didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sofoklis Patsavouras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İdris Adanır, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. İdris Adanır received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Sofoklis Patsavouras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to JOKER getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ataol Özkaya hit a great ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Akis Stafilas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MELATES F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Akis Stafilas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ataol Küdüs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sofoklis Patsavouras having to interfere. Ferman Baray made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Christos Papakostopoulos sent off a good shot on target. Akis Stafilas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by İdris Adanır in the 48th minute of play forced MELATES F.C.'s goalkeeper Sofoklis Patsavouras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Akis Stafilas to make the kick off. Christos Papakostopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of MELATES F.C. booed when JOKER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zafer Ersalmış didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute of the match Dimos Kokkosalis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ferman Baray skillfully saved the ball. 57 minutes into the match, JOKER's goal looked a bit too open when Akis Stafilas came free, but Ferman Baray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sofoklis Patsavouras stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of İdris Adanır's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. The supporters of MELATES F.C. booed when JOKER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zafer Ersalmış didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 65 minutes of play, MELATES F.C.'s Akis Stafilas made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ferman Baray was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, JOKER's Erhan Yönet got a free kick in the 76th minute. 80 minutes into the match, MELATES F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when İdris Adanır came free, but Sofoklis Patsavouras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Akis Stafilas came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the MELATES F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Akis Stafilas couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, MELATES F.C.'s Vrasidas Plousis got a free kick in the 83rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Akis Stafilas in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ferman Baray saved JOKER from getting behind. In the 89th match minute, MELATES F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerasimos Kipreos to maneuver through the defense. 92 minutes into the match, MELATES F.C.'s goalkeeper Sofoklis Patsavouras had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by İdris Adanır. Sofoklis Patsavouras was a little too slow when İdris Adanır got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 1-3. The JOKER supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing JOKER would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
