The supporters of OSTROVA booed when C. A. Potrero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Lehior didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gancho Gotev during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, OSTROVA's Gancho Gotev got a free kick in the 10th minute. Pablo Acevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gancho Gotev, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After 18 played minutes OSTROVA got a freekick which was hit by Mihail Krústenyakov. Serafino Geofredo in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Zhecho Komitov, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Mihail Krústenyakov charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mihail Krústenyakov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to OSTROVA getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Mihail Krústenyakov hit a great ball. Santo Beats short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Zhecho Komitov to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Santo Beat's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Zhecho Komitov skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Zhecho Komitov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafino Geofredo in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Santo Beat ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zhecho Komitov was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Raimundo Sal kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Lehior in the 34th minute of play forced OSTROVA's goalkeeper Zhecho Komitov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Niceto Lehior got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Serafino Geofredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Niceto Lehior had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In a very dangerous position, a player in OSTROVA fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 52nd minute. Penalty! Zhecho Komitov had in the 53rdth minute some difficulties stopping Santo Beat's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Santo Beat scored 2-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zhecho Komitov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Niceto Lehior sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 58 played minutes OSTROVA got a freekick which was hit by Gancho Yarúkov. Bernardo Maule hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Zhecho Komitov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafino Geofredo in the 61st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Niceto Lehior during the 65th minute. Cesar Gora recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rd minute, Gancho Gotev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isidoro Birjaio's late challenge caught a OSTROVA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isidoro Birjaio helped the player get up and apologised. OSTROVA's Zhecho Komitov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafino Geofredo in the 81st minute of play. When Niceto Lehior came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the C. A. Potrero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niceto Lehior couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafino Geofredo in the 87th minute of play forced OSTROVA's goalkeeper Zhecho Komitov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 88 played minutes C. A. Potrero got a freekick which was hit by Albino Cruz. Haralampi Kanov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd minute, Santo Beat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafino Geofredo in the 98th minute of play forced OSTROVA's goalkeeper Zhecho Komitov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. C. A. Potrero fully deserved thier win.
