In the 19thth minute of the game Abel Santillion who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ma&Lu Futbol Club's Xuban Natos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lealtad Futbol Club's Fortunato Victorica got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ariel Omaña's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Danny Gabiña read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Telmo Sabando in the 31st minute of play forced Lealtad Futbol Club's goalkeeper Danny Gabiña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Lealtad Futbol Club getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Vera Ludeña hit a great ball. In the 35th minute, Rogerio Troche ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xuban Natos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Ma&Lu Futbol Club's Telmo Sabando slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Danny Gabiña. That made the score 2-3 after 47 minutes of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

56 minutes into the game, Ma&Lu Futbol Club's Luís Fernando Ruz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Danny Gabiña made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. 60 minutes into the game, Javier Moron was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ma&Lu Futbol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lealtad Futbol Club the free kick. The goalkeeper, Xuban Natos, was totally fooled by Lealtad Futbol Club's Vera Ludeña, who 61 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 66 minutes into the match, Lealtad Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fernando Ruz came free, but Danny Gabiña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute Luís Fernando Ruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danny Gabiña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 83 played minutes Ma&Lu Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Rogelio Parayos. Rogerio Troche could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Xuban Natos made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fernando Ruz in the 89th minute of play forced Lealtad Futbol Club's goalkeeper Danny Gabiña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 91 played minutes Lealtad Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Vera Ludeña. 93 minutes into the match, Ma&Lu Futbol Club's goalkeeper Xuban Natos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rogerio Troche. Lealtad Futbol Club's Danny Gabiña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fernando Ruz in the 97th minute of play. Vera Ludeña received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Xuban Natos came out and tried to block the shot, but Vera Ludeña slotted it home off the left post making it 3-5 in the 98th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Lealtad Futbol Club eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
