The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Πυργετός Fc got a freekick which was hit by Marinos Kabouris. After a rather tough play, MERAVIGLIOSI SOSNOWIEC's Florian Moizuk got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 5th match minute, MERAVIGLIOSI SOSNOWIEC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aureliusz Wallach to maneuver through the defense. When Zinon Vakouftsis came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Πυργετός Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zinon Vakouftsis couldn't finish the play. 10 minutes into the game, Timos Vrachnos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Olaf Skirzynski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zisis Vourlis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wincenty Cichowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Zisis Vourlis was a little too slow when Aureliusz Wallach got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 4-1. In the 32nd minute, Aureliusz Wallach ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zisis Vourlis was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Zisis Vourlis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wincenty Cichowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Olaf Banan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 44 played minutes MERAVIGLIOSI SOSNOWIEC got a freekick which was hit by Wincenty Cichowski. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Aureliusz Wallach took a quick shot and it went in 6-1 without a chance for Zisis Vourlis to make any attempt to save it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olaf Banan was the one to do the kick off. Zisis Vourlis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliusz Wallach in the 55th minute of play. Zisis Vourlis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waclaw Rzegotka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the match, Timos Vrachnos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Olaf Skirzynski, 7-2. Olaf Banan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Zisis Vourlis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute Aureliusz Wallach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zisis Vourlis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 71 minutes of play, MERAVIGLIOSI SOSNOWIEC's Aureliusz Wallach made it 8-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zisis Vourlis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Timos Vrachnos hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. A collision led to MERAVIGLIOSI SOSNOWIEC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Waclaw Rzegotka hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the game, MERAVIGLIOSI SOSNOWIEC's Olaf Banan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zisis Vourlis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-2. Πυργετός Fc's Zisis Vourlis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olaf Banan in the 82nd minute of play. In the 89th minute Leszek Przybyciel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zisis Vourlis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, Waclaw Rzegotka was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MERAVIGLIOSI SOSNOWIEC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Πυργετός Fc the free kick. Waclaw Rzegotka hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Leszek Przybyciel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zisis Vourlis was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. After some careless play in the Πυργετός Fc defense, Olaf Banan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zisis Vourlis. The Πυργετός Fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zisis Vourlis should have stopped the shot. MERAVIGLIOSI SOSNOWIEC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
