With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luan de Godoi in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wellington Barbosa saved Vasco FC from getting behind. The supporters of Vasco FC booed when Rolo Compressor FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaltino Massa didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Marquinhos Schmidt from long distance, 14 minutes into the match, got André Luiz Peixoto's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 20th minute Luan de Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wellington Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dadá Pereira during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th minute, Dadá Pereira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Aílton Berger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luan de Godoi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Jairo Tinoco fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vasco FC's protests and gave Jairo Tinoco a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Vasco FC's Jairo Tinoco got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 53rd minute, Luan de Godoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tiago Gabriel Mesquita helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th minute of the match Tales Pereira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wellington Barbosa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 71st minute, Tiago Gabriel Mesquita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. André Luiz Peixoto was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Luan de Godoi put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Wellington Barbosa. In the 80th minute, Marquinhos Schmidt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vasco FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. After 86 minutes of play Vasco FC's Aílton Berger was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 87th minute, Aílton Berger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wellington Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luan de Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. If Dadá Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vasco FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Rolo Compressor FC for a fine match.
