One of Matadores FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Minerul Baita -MM-:s goal. Fabian Grozuță struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Paulo da Silva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Minerul Baita -MM-. 15 minutes into the match, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Fabian Grozuță sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulo da Silva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 18th minute Cornel Mihai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo da Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Matadores FC's Aurelian Vârlan threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Olavo Barbosa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Matadores FC booed when Minerul Baita -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihnea Aristide didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute, Rafa Hoffmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cornel Mihai in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo da Silva saved Matadores FC from getting behind. Matadores FC's Paulo da Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolae Mandache in the 32nd minute of play. Nicolae Mandache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mihnea Aristide charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mihnea Aristide the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Minerul Baita -MM- getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Paulo da Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornel Mihai in the 38th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the game, Mihnea Aristide cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Paulo da Silva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Minerul Baita -MM- were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Cosmin Bobeica made the kick off in the second half. Alberto Quadros kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Paulo da Silva was a little too slow when Cornel Mihai got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 0-5. Aurelian Vârlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafa Hoffmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Fabian Grozuță kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Paulo da Silva. That made the score 0-7 in the 66 minute of play. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Corneliu Nae was substituted for Maxim Grecescu. With a little luck, Matadores FC's Paulo da Silva got control of the ball when Cornel Mihai tried to sneak it across the goal line.
