FC Kukova's Pavol Majer got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Armin Bondi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pavol Majer, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute, Carter Piccinini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Pavol Majer managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Kukova's supporters rose to their feet, but Pavol Majer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armin Bondi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rd minute, FC Kukova's Ladislav Klačko seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ladislav Klačko the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Kukova protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ladislav Klačko had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 24th match minute, FC Kukova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ladislav Klačko to maneuver through the defense. Armin Bondi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugen Pataj, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Kukova's Antón Boldižár played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Schiavoni in the 41st minute of play. Miroslav Mastiš took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Armin Bondi. LA Lord Perez's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Eugen Pataj recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfonso Schiavoni to strike the kick off in the second half. Eugen Pataj received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Armin Bondi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute Alfonso Schiavoni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antón Boldižár saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eugen Pataj sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Eugen Pataj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the game, one of LA Lord Perez:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 80th minute, FC Kukova got a penalty, and Miroslav Mastiš placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. After 82 minutes, Ivan Moravčík mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Kukova and the LA Lord Perez players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd minute, Ivan Moravčík hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of LA Lord Perez booed when FC Kukova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tibor Hurban didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peter Klempa scored 0-2 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armin Bondi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
