Ramiro Umbruso kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 7th match minute, Rio Percy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Umbruso to maneuver through the defense. Gerardo Rius didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Luiz da Cunha went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chu Cha got free with Túlio Oury in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 12 minutes, Kiko Queiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EngTULIO&Tupipano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kiko Queiroz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Túlio Ladron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Túlio Ladron's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gerardo Rius was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. In the 21st minute of the match, Chu Cha got a very nice opportunity to score, but Túlio Oury was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gerardo Rius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Túlio Ladron in the 22nd minute of the match. After 24 played minutes Rio Percy got a freekick which was hit by Maximino Laurentzi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Luiz da Cunha in the 26th minute of play forced Rio Percy's goalkeeper Gerardo Rius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerardo Rius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Túlio Ladron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the match, Pedro Luiz da Cunha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gerardo Rius. Rio Percy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Luiz da Cunha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 36 minutes of play, EngTULIO&Tupipano's Celso Castro made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gerardo Rius was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, EngTULIO&Tupipano's Túlio Oury got control of the ball when Chu Cha tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 44th minute of the game, Túlio Ladron landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Celestino Endira charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celestino Endira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th minute, Celestino Endira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ramiro Umbruso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Rio Percy's Chu Cha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Túlio Oury made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Rio Percy's Gerardo Rius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Luiz da Cunha in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, EngTULIO&Tupipano's Luís Dante got a free kick in the 59th minute. Túlio Oury took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chu Cha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the game, Abelardo Pontes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. EngTULIO&Tupipano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rio Percy the free kick. The supporters of Rio Percy booed when EngTULIO&Tupipano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Pontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Pedro Luiz da Cunha came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the EngTULIO&Tupipano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Luiz da Cunha couldn't finish the play. Gerardo Rius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abelardo Pontes in the 68th minute. Rio Percy's Gerardo Rius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Dante in the 70th minute of play. Gerardo Rius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Luiz da Cunha in the 73rd minute of play. If Pedro Luiz da Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Pedro Luiz da Cunha sped through Rio Percy's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gerardo Rius. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Kiko Queiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot. EngTULIO&Tupipano's supporters rose to their feet, but Kiko Queiroz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerardo Rius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfonso Vermudo kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Pedro Luiz da Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerardo Rius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Luiz da Cunha in the 90th minute of play. Túlio Oury showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chu Cha, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The Rio Percy fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. EngTULIO&Tupipano were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
