Balavanis's Cătălin Simuţ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidor Zubizarreta in the 2nd minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Balavanis's goal looked a bit too open when Isidor Zubizarreta came free, but Cătălin Simuţ reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Balavanis's Cătălin Simuţ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franco Saavedra in the 7th minute of play. Isidor Zubizarreta charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isidor Zubizarreta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Isidor Zubizarreta hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After 12 minutes, Emilian Octavian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Balavanis and the Los kyes players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th match minute, Balavanis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilian Octavian to maneuver through the defense. Isidor Zubizarreta scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cătălin Simuţ, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 31st minute Isidor Zubizarreta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cătălin Simuţ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidor Zubizarreta in the 35th minute of play forced Balavanis's goalkeeper Cătălin Simuţ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gigi Văcăroiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 47 played minutes Balavanis got a freekick which was hit by Gigi Văcăroiu. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dorel Tărâţă made a kick off. Dorel Tărâţă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertin Ramiréz having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Valeriu Floroiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valeriu Floroiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valeriu Floroiu in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bertin Ramiréz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 60 minutes, Dacian Macamete mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Balavanis and the Los kyes players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dacian Macamete kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. The supporters of Balavanis booed when Los kyes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franco Saavedra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cătălin Simuţ was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Llorian Casals capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Llorian Casals really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. After a rather tough play, Los kyes's Nacho Canturri got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 72nd minute, Gigi Văcăroiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Los kyes's Bertin Ramiréz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valeriu Floroiu in the 76th minute of play. After 77 minutes Los kyes's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Valeriu Floroiu who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Balavanis's corner Valeriu Floroiu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bertin Ramiréz quite easily take care of the ball. Cătălin Simuţ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Llorian Casals in the 83rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Gigi Văcăroiu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bertin Ramiréz was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. A collision led to Balavanis getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Emilian Octavian hit a great ball. Cătălin Simuţ acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 91st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Isidor Zubizarreta. After 94 minutes, Nacho Canturri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los kyes and the Balavanis players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th match minute, Los kyes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nacho Canturri to maneuver through the defense. Los kyes played a much better game than Balavanis and deserved their victory. The Balavanis players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
