In the 34th minute, Dimitris Kalokiris left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GREEN LIONS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Made in Paraguay's goalkeeper Modesto Farto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alexandros Lavdas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Severo Labora in the 44th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dimitris Kalokiris made a kick off. Alexandros Lavdas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nahia Gago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Made in Paraguay's Modesto Farto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitris Kalokiris in the 60th minute of play. Alexis Kouloucheris kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Severo Labora had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alexandros Lavdas. GREEN LIONS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Severo Labora was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Alexandros Lavdas came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Made in Paraguay's Evaristo Mendialdura. But to his dismay, Evaristo Mendialdura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Dimitris Sakelariou hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Severo Labora struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Alexandros Lavdas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Made in Paraguay. In the 88th minute, Dimitris Kalokiris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evaristo Mendialdura's late challenge caught a GREEN LIONS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evaristo Mendialdura helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Made in Paraguay's Evaristo Mendialdura got a free kick in the 90th minute. GREEN LIONS's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
