When Felix Cândea came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the GoalHunters fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Cândea couldn't finish the play. In the 9th match minute, GoalHunters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tudor Balint to maneuver through the defense. GoalHunters's Stelian Ciorbea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Minko Búrnev in the 10th minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristinel Hojbota to make the kick off. Cristinel Hojbotas short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Genko Dankin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Iordache Nicorici hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the match, SPARROWS's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Cândea came free, but Genko Dankin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Genko Dankin was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Irinel Amandiței. Iordache Nicorici was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 93 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute, one of GoalHunters:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for GoalHunters. The referee gave SPARROWS a penalty, 94 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Teodor Katerinski, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of GoalHunters's Stelian Ciorbea. 3-0. The supporters of SPARROWS booed when GoalHunters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Cândea didn't get a good kick on the ball. SPARROWS were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of GoalHunters for a fine match.
