After a rather tough play, 27 de Mayo's Davi Novaes got a free kick in the 6th minute. 24 minutes into the match, 27 de Mayo's goalkeeper Enéas Leme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vágner Palmeira. Belo Academy's Felippe Guerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélio Pernambucano in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deivid de Mendonça in the 31st minute of play forced Belo Academy's goalkeeper Felippe Guerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kauan Amaral took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felippe Guerra. Felippe Guerra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Felippe Guerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kauan Amaral in the 41st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Virgílio Leal during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Belo Academy's Virgílio Leal got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 43rd match minute, Belo Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vágner Palmeira to maneuver through the defense. Belo Academy's Felippe Guerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélio Pernambucano in the 44th minute of play. The supporters of 27 de Mayo booed when Belo Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgílio Leal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute of the match Ciro Gaspar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Felippe Guerra showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vágner Palmeira was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Hélio Pernambucano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 27 de Mayo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hélio Pernambucano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Belo Academy's zone, Tiaguinho Moreno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felippe Guerra came out of the goal and Tiaguinho Moreno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kauan Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felippe Guerra having to interfere. Belo Academy's Felippe Guerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deivid de Mendonça in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th play minute Kauan Amaral came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Felippe Guerra. 0-4. Geovanni Linhares kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. When 27 de Mayo's Davi Novaes in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee showed Tiaguinho Moreno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Belo Academy booed when 27 de Mayo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiaguinho Moreno didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the game, one of Belo Academy:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 80th minute, 27 de Mayo's Hélio Pernambucano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. In the 85th minute, Basílio Mello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felippe Guerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélio Pernambucano in the 93rd minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Belo Academy's goalkeeper Felippe Guerra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tiaguinho Moreno. Tiaguinho Moreno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felippe Guerra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. In the 99th minute 27 de Mayo were awarded a corner. Ciro Gaspar went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led 27 de Mayo's Ciro Gaspar to fire away a dangerous shot which Felippe Guerra despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 27 de Mayo played a much better game than Belo Academy and deserved their victory. The Belo Academy players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
