Simon Isusko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Jeronimo Abella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to INDEPENDIENTE F.C. getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Hernan Min hit a great ball. In the 7th minute of the match Cayetano Chesus sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jeronimo Abella skillfully saved the ball. After 9 minutes, Segundo Ponciano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the INDEPENDIENTE F.C. and the Sportivo Mela Banco players grew even worse after the yellow card. 9 minutes into the game, one of INDEPENDIENTE F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jeronimo Abella came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Sportivo Mela Banco's Simon Isusko. But to his dismay, Simon Isusko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Carlos Sendoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute INDEPENDIENTE F.C. were awarded a corner. Lisandro Gergori went to the cornerflag to take it. Leon Aragones charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leon Aragones the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cayetano Chesus during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cayetano Chesus hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the game, Carlos Sendoa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Jeronimo Abella was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Simon Isusko succeeded in the game's 33rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. In the 37th minute, Simon Isusko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nemesio Tabb recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Simon Isusko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Simon Isusko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carlos Sendoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Simon Isusko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the INDEPENDIENTE F.C. defense, Simon Isusko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jeronimo Abella. The INDEPENDIENTE F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeronimo Abella should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Cristian Ado got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Simon Isusko's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jeronimo Abella firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 70th minute Sportivo Mela Banco were awarded a corner. Cayetano Chesus went to the cornerflag to take it. Marcial Ticho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nemesio Tabb in the 71st minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Nemesio Tabb notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Sportivo Mela Banco's Marcial Ticho. Marcial Ticho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marcial Ticho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Senon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcial Ticho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nemesio Tabb in the 79th minute of the match. Simon Isusko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Segundo Ponciano got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute, Cayetano Chesus sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Jeronimo Abella didn't even have to move. In the 86th match minute, Sportivo Mela Banco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Pere to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Sendoa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of INDEPENDIENTE F.C. booed when Sportivo Mela Banco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Sendoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Nemesio Tabb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
