Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Ignacio Ebere made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute Pascual Gomesano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Sadlowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Artemio Hegoi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club El Progreso fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Juliusz Bator's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Vergaray read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Ryszard Wielopolski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pascual Gomesano hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Artemio Hegoi in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iwan Sadlowski saved FC Borówiec from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Beniamin Charlos during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Beniamin Charlos kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After 23 played minutes, Club El Progreso's Pascual Gomesano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Iwan Sadlowski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club El Progreso reached it. Iwan Sadlowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Ebere, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Juliusz Bator was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Borówiec's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club El Progreso the free kick. Juliusz Bator kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Pascual Gomesano took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iwan Sadlowski. Iwan Sadlowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 40th minute, Edgardo Lastur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Club El Progreso's goalkeeper Juan Vergaray, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Artemio Hegoi kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The FC Borówiec players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club El Progreso were winning 0-2.

Pascual Gomesano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Iwan Sadlowski made a huge save. In the 65th minute, Ignacio Ebere hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Vergaray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juliusz Bator, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club El Progreso's Juan Vergaray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juliusz Bator in the 73rd minute of play. Baldomero Salomon kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. When Artemio Hegoi fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club El Progreso's protests and gave Artemio Hegoi a yellow card for diving instead. Emil Niedziela charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emil Niedziela the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a little luck, FC Borówiec's Iwan Sadlowski got control of the ball when Apolo Ramos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Juliusz Bator might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juan Vergaray. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juliusz Bator ran back to his position shaking his head. 89 minutes into the match, Club El Progreso's goal looked a bit too open when Juliusz Bator came free, but Juan Vergaray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club El Progreso's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
