Márk Vargha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matthias Meliti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Csaba Kormos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Matthias Meliti made a huge save. In the 21st match minute, ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Brändle to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Bucher in the 23rd minute of play forced Phoenix Fireball SE's goalkeeper György Solti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernst Cakir made a kick off. A collision led to ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ getting a freekick after 54 minutes play.
