Hayati Sıraç was slow to take the kick. During this time The Last Airbender's players had a chance to rest. John Balzan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Halis Haliç in the 14th minute of play. Mehmet Halis Haliç who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of John Balzan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Sliema Dragons FC's Arthur Facciol got a free kick in the 19th minute. The Last Airbender's Hayati Sıraç shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 19th minute of play. The shot was stopped by John Balzan but with some difficulty. Colin Pullicino Orlando's late challenge caught a The Last Airbender's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Colin Pullicino Orlando helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Sliema Dragons FC's Colin Pullicino Orlando got a free kick in the 28th minute. After 28 played minutes, The Last Airbender's Hayati Sıraç shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper John Balzan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in The Last Airbender reached it. Fabian Borg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Muhittin Suyurgal having to interfere. John Balzan made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Ahmet Nedim Eronat sent off a good shot on target. The Last Airbender's Muhittin Suyurgal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Galdes in the 39th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Fabian Borg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Muhittin Suyurgal. The Last Airbender's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabian Borg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Samuel Galdes made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Sliema Dragons FC got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Galdes. After a rather tough play, The Last Airbender's Filip Hološko got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Muhittin Suyurgal made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Samuel Galdes sent off a good shot on target. In the 63rd match minute, The Last Airbender was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emirhan Kutlan to maneuver through the defense. Samuel Galdes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Muhittin Suyurgal made a huge save. A collision led to Sliema Dragons FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Jean Paul Caruana hit a great ball. John Balzan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Nedim Eronat in the 71st minute of play. Muhittin Suyurgal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Buttigieg in the 74th minute of the match. John Balzan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Halis Haliç, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Ahmet Nedim Eronat kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Filip Hološko took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised John Balzan. John Balzan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, The Last Airbender's Hayati Sıraç got a free kick in the 87th minute. Hayati Sıraç kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Muhittin Suyurgal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Galdes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emirhan Kutlan hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The Last Airbender's Muhittin Suyurgal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save The Last Airbender from getting a goal against them. 97 minutes into the match, Sliema Dragons FC's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Hološko came free, but John Balzan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
