The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michel Maciel helped the player get up and apologised. Ovidio Lizbeth took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tony Trancoso. Donzela de Ferro FBPA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mário Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Urdin having to interfere. The supporters of Donzela de Ferro FBPA booed when ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Perez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emiliano Urdin was a little too slow when Mário Aguiar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 1-0. After 17 minutes of play, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Norberto Cristofor made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tony Trancoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! 20 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goalkeeper Emiliano Urdin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mário Aguiar. When Gerson Linhares fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Donzela de Ferro FBPA's protests and gave Gerson Linhares a yellow card for diving instead. 25 minutes into the match, Mário Aguiar notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Emiliano Urdin. Emiliano Urdin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mário Aguiar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Emiliano Urdin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tony Trancoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Avellaneda in the 39th minute of the match. Tomas Avellaneda took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tony Trancoso. Tony Trancoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Mário Aguiar struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Emiliano Urdin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Donzela de Ferro FBPA. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mário Aguiar to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Norberto Cristofor kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tony Trancoso. That made the score 3-3 in the 59 minute of play. Tony Trancoso made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Freddy Primo sent off a good shot on target. 66 minutes into the match, Donzela de Ferro FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Primo came free, but Tony Trancoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Manuel Perez got a free kick in the 76th minute. Tony Trancoso came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Pablo Madera. But to his dismay, Pablo Madera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-5. After 81 played minutes Donzela de Ferro FBPA got a freekick which was hit by Michel Maciel. Norberto Cristofor kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Pablo Madera made a precise shot to the right of Tony Trancoso. Donzela de Ferro FBPA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-6. 92 minutes into the match, Donzela de Ferro FBPA's goalkeeper Tony Trancoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pablo Madera. In the 94th match minute, Donzela de Ferro FBPA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michel Maciel to maneuver through the defense. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA played a much better game than Donzela de Ferro FBPA and deserved their victory. The Donzela de Ferro FBPA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
