The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute, Jakub Dziura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aureliusz Rybak charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aureliusz Rybak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to 2kC Poznań getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Aureliusz Rybak hit a great ball. Fabricio Henrico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milosz Podowski in the 15th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Temperley's zone, Milosz Budzyn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabricio Henrico came out of the goal and Milosz Budzyn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Milosz Budzyn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Fabricio Henrico made a huge save. In the 23rd match minute, 2kC Poznań was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jakub Dziura to maneuver through the defense. 2kC Poznań's Izydor Pilipiec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iker Montrell in the 24th minute of play. Fabricio Henrico made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Milosz Budzyn sent off a good shot on target. Milosz Budzyn struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Fabricio Henrico didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 2kC Poznań. If Milosz Budzyn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fabricio Henrico made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Milosz Budzyn sent off a good shot on target. In the 47th minute, Konstanty Zaworski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Milosz Podowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabricio Henrico came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by 2kC Poznań's Milosz Budzyn. But to his dismay, Milosz Budzyn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 66 minutes into the match, Temperley's goal looked a bit too open when Zbyszko Olender came free, but Fabricio Henrico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute Milosz Budzyn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabricio Henrico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Temperley defense, Michal Latocha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabricio Henrico. The Temperley fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabricio Henrico should have stopped the shot. 2kC Poznań's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Milosz Budzyn in the 78th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Milosz Podowski in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabricio Henrico prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fabricio Henrico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michal Latocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, Temperley's goal looked a bit too open when Michal Latocha came free, but Fabricio Henrico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stasio Chlapowski in the 86th minute of play forced Temperley's goalkeeper Fabricio Henrico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabricio Henrico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konstanty Zaworski in the 87th minute of play. Milosz Budzyn took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fabricio Henrico. Temperley's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Fabricio Henrico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stasio Chlapowski in the 90th minute of play. Fabricio Henrico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michal Latocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michal Latocha scored 3-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabricio Henrico, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The 2kC Poznań fans cheered their team off the field, for while Temperley had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
