In the 5th minute, Marius Østli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Álvaro Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Júlio Lemos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Stokken, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Suleskard's goalkeeper Ådne Østvang had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albérico Santarém. Vitória StrikerS™ were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Suleskard's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joaquim Nogueira took the corner. The corner ended in Joaquim Nogueira almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Suleskard's Ådne Østvang did a great save. Mats Krogstad hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the match, Hélio Paião dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ådne Østvang, 1-0. In the 20th match minute, Suleskard was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Stokken to maneuver through the defense. After 21 minutes, Hans Skjærvik mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Suleskard and the Vitória StrikerS™ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Suleskard's Hans Skjærvik got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 24th match minute, Suleskard was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mats Krogstad to maneuver through the defense. Ådne Østvang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseu Pereira in the 25th minute of play. In the 34th minute, Américo Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute, Zacarias Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Suleskard getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Mats Krogstad hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leon Stokken made a kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Suleskard's Leon Stokken made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Júlio Lemos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hélio Paião received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Ådne Østvang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Américo Aguiar's late challenge caught a Suleskard's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Américo Aguiar helped the player get up and apologised. After 58 played minutes Vitória StrikerS™ got a freekick which was hit by Américo Aguiar. The crowd rose to their feet as Leon Stokken kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Júlio Lemos. That made the score 2-2 in the 62 minute of play. In the 70th minute, Álvaro Pinheiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the match, Suleskard's Espen Melhus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Júlio Lemos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After taking down the ball on Suleskard's corner Espen Melhus fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Júlio Lemos quite easily take care of the ball. The Suleskard fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Suleskard's Øyvind Hegge looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hans Skjærvik got free with Júlio Lemos in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 83rd minute Suleskard were awarded a corner. Espen Melhus went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Suleskard's corner Espen Melhus fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Júlio Lemos quite easily take care of the ball. In the 84th minute, Américo Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute Joaquim Nogueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ådne Østvang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leon Stokken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 91stth minute of the game Eliseu Pereira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Suleskard's Ådne Østvang was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Júlio Lemos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Øyvind Hegge in the 93rd minute. The Suleskard supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Suleskard would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
