Claudinho Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Monteiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lauro Trigo got free with Claudinho Medeiros in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alfredão Toledo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 30th minute, Durval Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Jacuitiba - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Adriano Souto hit a great ball. If Allan Leme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute Gustavo Monteiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's Claudinho Medeiros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Jacuitiba - FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. Claudinho Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Monteiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Gustavo Monteiro made the kick off in the second half. Claudinho Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Augusto Simão in the 52nd minute of play. In the 55th minute, Luís Guilherme Custódio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Monteiro in the 56th minute of play forced Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Claudinho Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's Claudinho Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Augusto Simão in the 59th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Mundial EC's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Paulo Valle came free, but Geovânio Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. One of Mundial EC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Jacuitiba - FSCMZ:s goal. Geovânio Santana had in the 80thth minute some difficulties stopping Benjamin Travassos's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Pedro Augusto Simão notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's Claudinho Medeiros. Claudinho Medeiros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 90 minutes of play, Mundial EC's Lauro Trigo made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Claudinho Medeiros was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Mundial EC's Geovânio Santana got control of the ball when Allan Leme tried to sneak it across the goal line.
