In the 3rd minute, Enrique Fariñada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augustin Alecu got free with Juan Lambarri in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Zoil Villajane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 15 in the game by Augustin Alecu from a close distance when the talented Juan Lambarri managed to make a qualified save. Carnot's players were relieved. After having played for 17 minutes, Petru Baba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Petru Baba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Carnot getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Vellito Canal hit a great ball. Juan Lambarri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marius Cucerdean in the 20th minute of play. Ramos Holgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudiu Cobâlcescu having to interfere. The supporters of White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- booed when Carnot was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danny Figueruela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claudiu Cobâlcescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zoil Villajane, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valeriu Vlădoiu during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s Valeriu Vlădoiu got a free kick in the 36th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marius Cucerdean made a kick off. Juan Lambarri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augustin Alecu in the 54th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Radu Stătescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lavalle Casadevante received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Claudiu Cobâlcescu came out and tried to block the shot, but Lavalle Casadevante slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marius Cucerdean in the 63rd minute of play forced Carnot's goalkeeper Juan Lambarri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudiu Cobâlcescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lavalle Casadevante in the 66th minute. Petru Baba kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Radu Stătescu kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. When Augustin Alecu fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s protests and gave Augustin Alecu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th minute, Carnot's Vellito Canal seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Vellito Canal the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Carnot protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Vellito Canal had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 94 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Carnot! For all the effort they put into the match, the Carnot players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-.
