Carlos Alberto Souto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hagbart Trantofte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Børge Ryal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute Samuel Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Børge Ryal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Hagbart Trantofte made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Alberto Souto. IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 45th minute Christian Schivy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Alberto Souto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christian Schivy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Alberto Souto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 50th minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hagbart Trantofte was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute, Christian Schivy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 60 played minutes Hønning got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Sigberg. A collision led to Hønning getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Pablo Sigberg hit a great ball. Hønning's supporters rose to their feet, but Hagbart Trantofte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Alberto Souto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Hønning booed when IsioSamuel Jrs F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aluísio Zico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hønning's Hagbart Trantofte got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlos Alberto Souto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christian Schivy in the 87th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christian Schivy got free with Carlos Alberto Souto in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pablo Sigberg's late challenge caught a IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pablo Sigberg helped the player get up and apologised. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
