Tommy Asserlindh might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonatan Rydelius. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tommy Asserlindh ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonatan Rydelius made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Tommy Asserlindh sent off a good shot on target. After 4 played minutes Fomac FK got a freekick which was hit by Rutger Godholm. Tommy Asserlindhs short, quick shot in the 6thth minute got Jonatan Rydelius to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jonatan Rydelius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Olof Jernberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 15 played minutes Sundens BK got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Olof Jernberg. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Stefan Åman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fomac FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Stefan Åman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilhelm Säv breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jens-Ove Berg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tommy Asserlindh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatan Rydelius having to interfere. After 41 minutes, Tommy Asserlindh made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Fomac FK's Jonatan Rydelius tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jarl Jansson made a kick off. After 50 played minutes Fomac FK got a freekick which was hit by Jarl Jansson. Charles Torstensson kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. The supporters of Fomac FK booed when Sundens BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Börje Askestät didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Stefan Åman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommy Asserlindh kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Tommy Asserlindh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Sundens BK's zone, Jarl Jansson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilhelm Säv came out of the goal and Jarl Jansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Alvar Söderman fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sundens BK's protests and gave Alvar Söderman a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Sundens BK getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Alvar Söderman hit a great ball. Tommy Asserlindh struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Jonatan Rydelius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sundens BK. 92 minutes into the match, Fomac FK's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Asserlindh came free, but Jonatan Rydelius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Sundens BK's Tommy Asserlindh in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fomac FK's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Fomac FK's zone, Tommy Asserlindh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonatan Rydelius came out of the goal and Tommy Asserlindh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Fomac FK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sundens BK.
