A beautiful save bye Brown de Adrogue's goalie prevented a goal. Paulo Alfonso came free with the goalkeeper in the 7th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Víktor Terra could save by the left post. When Manuel Araújo fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Ducks Sport Club's protests and gave Manuel Araújo a yellow card for diving instead. Tiburcio Marz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Víktor Terra made a huge save. With an all-out effort, Brown de Adrogue's Víktor Terra threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Saverio Quintun, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Víktor Terra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saverio Quintun in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Tiburcio Marz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Víktor Terra. Tiburcio Marz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 27 minutes into the match, Benedito Paraense notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Brown de Adrogue's Eustacio Clis. Eustacio Clis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Anderson Prado fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Ducks Sport Club's protests and gave Anderson Prado a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Real Ducks Sport Club getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Anderson Prado hit a great ball. After 36 minutes, Tiburcio Marz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brown de Adrogue and the Real Ducks Sport Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 36 played minutes Brown de Adrogue got a freekick which was hit by Tiburcio Marz. 39 minutes into the match, Benedito Paraense had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eustacio Clis. Brown de Adrogue's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benedito Paraense was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After the first half Real Ducks Sport Club were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Tiburcio Marz struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Víktor Terra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brown de Adrogue. When André da Silva came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Real Ducks Sport Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André da Silva couldn't finish the play. In the 59th minute Saverio Quintun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Víktor Terra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Alfonso's late challenge caught a Real Ducks Sport Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulo Alfonso helped the player get up and apologised. 67 minutes in the game, Benedito Paraense fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Eustacio Clis having to interfere.
