In the 2nd minute Elias Paulista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Salvadore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julian Salvadore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Augusto Linares in the 5th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, RIVER's goal looked a bit too open when João Augusto Linares came free, but Julian Salvadore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Salvadore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aírton Capixaba in the 8th minute of the match. Julian Salvadore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Paulista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Litoral EC - CIMZ's Paulo José Campidelis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Litoral EC - CIMZ from getting a goal against them. RIVER's Julian Salvadore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aírton Capixaba in the 17th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, RIVER's goal looked a bit too open when Aírton Capixaba came free, but Julian Salvadore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Salvadore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aírton Capixaba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julian Salvadore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aírton Capixaba in the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Paulista in the 30th minute of play forced RIVER's goalkeeper Julian Salvadore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. RIVER's Julian Salvadore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aírton Capixaba in the 34th minute of play. Litoral EC - CIMZ's Paulo José Campidelis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Litoral EC - CIMZ from getting a goal against them. The supporters of RIVER booed when Litoral EC - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edson de Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardinho Vander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 44 minutes into the match, RIVER's goal looked a bit too open when Aírton Capixaba came free, but Julian Salvadore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 48 minutes into the game, Aírton Capixaba cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Julian Salvadore was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aírton Capixaba to strike the kick off in the second half. Julian Salvadore made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Aírton Capixaba sent off a good shot on target. In the 56th minute Ricardinho Vander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Salvadore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julian Salvadore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Paulista in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Aírton Capixaba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, RIVER's Julian Salvadore got control of the ball when João Augusto Linares tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to RIVER getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Samuel Lertxun hit a great ball. After 77 minutes of play, Litoral EC - CIMZ's Aírton Capixaba made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julian Salvadore was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 80th minute of the match, Aírton Capixaba got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julian Salvadore was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aírton Capixaba in the 82nd minute of play forced RIVER's goalkeeper Julian Salvadore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the RIVER defense, João Augusto Linares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julian Salvadore. The RIVER fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julian Salvadore should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, RIVER's Higinio Nofre got a free kick in the 88th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Litoral EC - CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Ildefonso Haritzeder came free, but Paulo José Campidelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Litoral EC - CIMZ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than RIVER throughout the match.
