Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ's Armando Félix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Jusepe in the 31st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabricio Cordarrell in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Félix saved Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ's Dino Paraense got a free kick in the 35th minute. Armando Félix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabricio Cordarrell in the 37th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 40 minutes into the game, when Ciro Miranda put in a rough tackle. After 42 played minutes, Seclantas AFC's Anibal Semeno shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Armando Félix came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Seclantas AFC reached it. After some careless play in the Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ defense, Anier Tello kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armando Félix. The Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armando Félix should have stopped the shot.

The supporters of Seclantas AFC booed when Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaltino Paraibano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Seclantas AFC's Guido Iigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Pirani in the 72nd minute of play. The supporters of Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ booed when Seclantas AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seclantas AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anibal Semeno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Placido Jusepe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Armando Félix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
