An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Pudes in the 29th minute of play forced Henley on Thames United's goalkeeper Dane White to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Teodoro Salomon reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dane White. The goal made the score 1-0.
