In the 17th minute Svante Pihlgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Ignazio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Erik Kihlman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armando Orlan's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Prudencio Oxel hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. When Göran Klint came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Brothers of Mercy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Göran Klint couldn't finish the play. The wind increased when Armando Orlan made the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Svante Pihlgren sped through CF JABATOS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bernardino Ignazio. CF JABATOS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brothers of Mercy the free kick. The supporters of Brothers of Mercy booed when CF JABATOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arsenio Izel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clemente Tirso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Svante Pihlgren in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardino Ignazio saved CF JABATOS from getting behind. Bernardino Ignazio came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Brothers of Mercy's Göran Klint. But to his dismay, Göran Klint quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0.
