Izak Capellemans made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Victor Hellkvist sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 9 in the game by Viggo Larsfält from a close distance when the talented Izak Capellemans managed to make a qualified save. Lions United's players were relieved. In the 11th minute, Mountainhammer United's Victor Hellkvist ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Izak Capellemans. Izak Capellemans yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Lions United's Izak Capellemans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Lions United from getting a goal against them. Lions United's Izak Capellemans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Hellkvist in the 21st minute of play. Izak Capellemans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viggo Larsfält, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Izak Capellemans was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Victor Hellkvist capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Victor Hellkvist really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Izak Capellemans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Hellkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Lions United booed when Mountainhammer United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Folke Berg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute Constantijn Elsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Alebeck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Izak Capellemans made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Alvin Hedström sent off a good shot on target. Izak Capellemans came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Mountainhammer United's Alvin Hedström. But to his dismay, Alvin Hedström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The wind increased when Victor Hellkvist made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Lions United's goal looked a bit too open when Alvin Hedström came free, but Izak Capellemans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th match minute, Lions United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gillis Heirremans to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute Folke Berg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Izak Capellemans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Izak Capellemans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Hellkvist in the 62nd minute of play. If Peter-Jan Michiels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Folke Berg fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mountainhammer United's protests and gave Folke Berg a yellow card for diving instead. Izak Capellemans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fritz Botvidsson in the 81st minute of the match. Izak Capellemans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viggo Larsfält, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 86th minute, Max Struijf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Izak Capellemans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvin Hedström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Hellkvist in the 94th minute of play forced Lions United's goalkeeper Izak Capellemans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th match minute, Mountainhammer United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvin Hedström to maneuver through the defense. Mountainhammer United's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
