Francisco Graham scored 0-2 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ciro Moise, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Francisco Graham put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Ciro Moise. In the 18th minute, Francisco Graham left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sport Lisboa e Benfica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After 21 played minutes Japy Man got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Bernad. Israel Elivareo's late challenge caught a Sport Lisboa e Benfica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Israel Elivareo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sport Lisboa e Benfica booed when Japy Man was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Israel Elivareo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Francisco Graham sped through Japy Man's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ciro Moise. The audience was convinced that Francisco Graham's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ciro Moise was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. In the 36th minute Florentin McCann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Moise saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tadeo Walme stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jerrod Hope showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeo Walme, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Francisco Graham did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-6 to the left of a surprised Ciro Moise 64 minutes into the match. Tadeo Walme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerrod Hope having to interfere. In the 72nd minute of the match, Francisco Graham tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ciro Moise saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Tadeo Walme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerrod Hope having to interfere. In the 76thth minute of the game Francisco Graham who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Japy Man's Ciro Moise was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ciro Moise showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Graham, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 82 minutes into the match, Florentin McCann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ciro Moise. Japy Man's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florentin McCann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 85th minute of the game. One of Japy Man:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sport Lisboa e Benfica:s goal. When Japy Man's Tadeo Walme in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sport Lisboa e Benfica's goalie prevented a goal. If Florentin McCann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sport Lisboa e Benfica eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
