After 15 minutes, Vinicio Mingo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Viento Norte FC and the Aris Salonicco FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th match minute, Viento Norte FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinicio Mingo to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Bianco Barbanti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aris Salonicco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bianco Barbanti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Viento Norte FC's Tomás Quintun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amos Marinucci in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Viento Norte FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bianco Barbanti came free, but Tomás Quintun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eusebio Jobo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beppe Di Luca having to interfere. Amos Marinucci took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomás Quintun. Tomás Quintun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With 34 minutes on the clock, Emanuele Schirru commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 34th match minute, Aris Salonicco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuele Schirru to maneuver through the defense. If Emiliano Trombetta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th match minute, Viento Norte FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Calvet to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Aris Salonicco FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The referee showed Amos Marinucci the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 73rd minute, Amos Marinucci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 74 minutes into the game, Isaias Amato was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Viento Norte FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aris Salonicco FC the free kick. The supporters of Aris Salonicco FC booed when Viento Norte FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaias Amato didn't get a good kick on the ball. Beppe Di Luca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliberto Elodio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Aris Salonicco FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
