The audience thought a goal was coming when Ludvik Honningsvåg got free with Staffan Lind in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 9 minutes into the match, Lost in pace's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt-Åke Thidén came free, but Endre Haddeland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Endre Haddeland came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Linköpings AIK's Johannes Torstensson. But to his dismay, Johannes Torstensson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Johannes Torstensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Staffan Lind showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjetil-André Sundgot, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 21st minute, Lost in pace's Kjetil-André Sundgot ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Staffan Lind. Staffan Lind yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Ludvik Honningsvåg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Staffan Lind having to interfere. A collision led to Linköpings AIK getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Nils-Åke Gadd hit a great ball. After 26 played minutes Linköpings AIK got a freekick which was hit by Torleif Torstensson. Staffan Lind made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ludvik Honningsvåg in the 27th minute. Bengt-Åke Thidén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Endre Haddeland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Endre Haddeland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Torstensson in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute Greger Jonasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Endre Haddeland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lost in pace were furious when Noah Furseth was red carded, 31 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lost in pace fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 30th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Linköpings AIK a penalty, 32 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Johannes Torstensson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lost in pace's Endre Haddeland. 1-2. 39 minutes into the match, Linköpings AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Kjetil-André Sundgot came free, but Staffan Lind reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Staffan Lind came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Lost in pace's Fridtjof Skaare. But to his dismay, Fridtjof Skaare quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 44 minutes into the match, Lost in pace's Kjetil-André Sundgot sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Staffan Lind narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fridtjof Skaare could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Staffan Lind made a huge save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bengt-Åke Thidén stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Bengt-Åke Thidén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Endre Haddeland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kjetil-André Sundgot hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the match, Lost in pace's goalkeeper Endre Haddeland had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bengt-Åke Thidén. 62 minutes into the match, Lost in pace's goal looked a bit too open when Greger Jonasson came free, but Endre Haddeland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 70 played minutes Linköpings AIK got a freekick which was hit by Bengt-Åke Thidén. In the 74th match minute, Linköpings AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Greger Jonasson to maneuver through the defense. Lost in pace's Ludvik Honningsvåg got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Endre Haddeland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Åke Thidén in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute Tor Jelstad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Staffan Lind saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st match minute, Lost in pace was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Vedal to maneuver through the defense. Linköpings AIK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kjetil-André Sundgot was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Endre Haddeland was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bengt-Åke Thidén showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-4 in the 92 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Linköpings AIK's Johannes Torstensson got a free kick in the 95th minute. In the 96th minute of the match Ludvik Honningsvåg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Staffan Lind skillfully saved the ball.
